Rhinoplasty Revision

Overview

It is better to get a surgery after 6 months when overall tissue becomes soft. But, If you have inflammation or side effect,  have deviated or visible implant and  it is a simple rhinoplasty,  you can get a secondary rhinoplasty within 3 months after surgery. 

Types of Procedures

Deviated Implant

It needs to remove the silicon membrane surrounding implants with the implants, create a new space deep, place the implants and fix them to prevent recurrence.

Transparent Implant

Existing implant is removed and replaced with implant of exact design. If you have a thinned-skin, artificial or autologous dermis is used to supplement the skin.

Non-Fixed Implant 

If the implant is not fixed but is moving, existing implant is removed, new implant which fits to your nasal bridge is reinserted between bone and periosteum and fixed.

Upturned Nasal Tip (Contracture)

First, it needs to treat inflammation and remove the silicon membrane and restore the skeleton of the nose with using nasal septum cartilage or autologous tissue.

Too High or Low Nasal Bridge

Existing implant is removed and a new implant which suites the nose height is reinserted for the adjustment of the nasal bridge height.
